Reward Points for Rent? A Shiny Distraction or Real Value? I get it, resident reward programs sound flashy—points for rent, discounts at the local coffee shop, even cookware for paying on time. But let’s not kid ourselves. While these programs might look great in marketing pitches to property owners, are they really solving the day-to-day issues for residents? Let’s face it: most renters would trade all the reward points in the world for just one thing—timely maintenance and responsive customer service. Fix the leaky faucet faster than I can rack up yoga class credits, and you’ll have a happy resident for the long haul. Points for loyalty are great in theory, but loyalty built on great service is what really retains tenants. Sometimes it feels like the reward programs are more about branding for the management company than true resident satisfaction. It’s like putting a cherry on a cake that hasn’t been baked properly. Let’s bake the cake first, then maybe we can talk about cherries. https://lnkd.in/gH9vtk6y
