MARRIAGE ADVICE – “In marriage, you shouldn’t look for someone with good looks and character. You look for someone with low expectations.” – A high-expectations spouse is never pleased, and you will spend your life being miserable trying to jump through hoops to please him or her. So unless you want to spend your life living with someone who is never happy, a low-expectations spouse is probably the way to go. However, the opposite is true in business: if you have low expectations for an employee or a management team, they will never rise to the occasion or learn to excel at their craft or profession. Why isn’t this true for marriage? Because marriage isn’t a job. Tao of Charlie Munger David Clark
