It's astonishing to see an AI system rocket from the 10th percentile to the 90th on something as prestigious as the bar exam in just a year. If that rate of advancement continues unabated, we're looking at a future where every field, from law to medicine to engineering, gets reshaped by non-human intelligence – and fast. While I'm all for disruptive progress, this damn well better light a fire under the ponderous institutions dragging their feet on adapting. The world is crumbling around them more rapidly than any sane person imagined. Those incapable of keeping up will get utterly demolished by the cognitive horsepower and scalability of machines that don't sleep, forget, or grow fatigued. We better brace ourselves for one hell of a paradigm shift in how work gets done.
